IT Project Manager (Full-Time Position)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized IT Project Manager to oversee and manage the delivery of IT projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams to achieve successful project outcomes. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines, within budget, and in alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience managing IT projects.
- English level: C1
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proven experience managing IT projects, ideally in [insert specific industry, e.g., software development, infrastructure, etc.].
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, etc.).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello, Asana).
Technical Expertise:
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure, software development life cycle (SDLC), and cloud technologies.
- Experience with IT security best practices and understanding of data protection regulations.
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation in an IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination:
- Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders, including business leaders, technical teams, and vendors, to gather requirements and establish project goals.
- Define clear project deliverables and milestones, monitoring progress and adjusting plans as necessary.
Team Management & Collaboration:
- Oversee the project team, providing direction, support, and ensuring effective collaboration between cross-functional teams (developers, designers, QA, etc.).
- Foster an environment of open communication, ensuring all team members understand their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Manage project risks, identify potential roadblocks, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Budget & Resource Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
- Monitor project expenditures and recommend cost-saving measures when necessary.
- Ensure proper allocation of resources, including people, tools, and technologies, to meet project deadlines and objectives.
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including senior management, business users, and IT teams.
- Provide regular project status updates, highlighting key progress, issues, and next steps.
- Ensure project documentation is accurate and up-to-date, including timelines, budgets, risks, and scope.
Risk Management & Quality Assurance:
- Identify project risks early, work to mitigate them, and adjust timelines and resources as needed.
- Conduct project reviews and ensure the final deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
- Ensure that all projects comply with company policies, procedures, and security standards.
