Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to oversee IT operations, ensuring systems and infrastructures operate securely and reliably. The ideal candidate will play a strategic role in designing, implementing, and managing IT infrastructures, ensuring the organization’s IT assets are protected from cyber threats.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing daily IT operations to ensure reliable and secure performance.
- Designing, implementing, and managing IT infrastructures.
- Monitoring system performance and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Managing IT vendors and service providers.
- Developing IT policies and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
- Planning and executing backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Conducting regular security assessments to protect IT assets.
- Recruiting, training, and leading IT staff.
- Developing strategic plans for technical, web, and mobile services.
- Managing IT budgets and forecasting future needs.
Requirements and Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in hardware and software management, predominantly in Linux environments.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001 standards and GDPR compliance.
- Strong planning skills and expertise in IT security.
- Advanced knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Proficiency in English.
